Heilongjiang Province High-end Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Equipment Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Conference was held in Jiamusi
On October 14th, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Jiamusi Municipal Government, hosted the High-end Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Equipment Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Conference in Jiamusi City.
The primary goal of this conference was to establish a comprehensive platform for deep communication and collaboration among government, industry, academia, research, and end-users. By pooling collective knowledge and building consensus, participants aimed to promote the integration of the innovation chain, industrial chain, and funding chain for smart agricultural machinery in Heilongjiang, creating a solid ecosystem that accelerates high-quality development within the sector.
Heilongjiang is one of the earliest and most developed provinces for agricultural machinery application and manufacturing in China. The province boasts a rich array of agricultural machinery applications, with a mechanization rate for crop cultivation and harvesting consistently ranking first nationwide, indicating substantial market potential. It is home to 11 key universities and research institutions, including Northeast Agricultural University, and 9 national and provincial key laboratories, showcasing a strong research capacity. Additionally, a number of specialized agricultural machinery manufacturing companies, such as Jichi Tractors, Zhongxing Machinery, and Dewo Technology, contribute to the sector’s innovation. Notable products like high-power hybrid tractors, electric high-speed precision seeders, large-capacity corn harvesting machines, and laser intelligent weeding robots have filled gaps in domestic manufacturing.
In this context, Heilongjiang is committed to driving industrial innovation through technological advancement. The province is focusing on nurturing and strengthening clusters in the smart agricultural machinery sector, while accelerating the establishment of a pilot zone for the research, development, manufacturing, and application of large-scale high-power intelligent agricultural machinery. The aim is to create an internationally competitive base for high-end intelligent agricultural equipment and demonstration areas for advanced agricultural machinery applications, thereby leading the way in modernizing agricultural material equipment.
During the conference, representatives from Qiqihar City, Jiamusi City, and Harbin’s Pingfang District presented their industrial promotions. They engaged in cooperation agreements surrounding key common technologies in intelligent agricultural machinery and the establishment of industrial bases. Representatives from relevant enterprises, universities, and financial institutions exchanged ideas within their fields of expertise. Businesses and research institutions from Heilongjiang and beyond actively pursued collaboration, working toward a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that encompasses production, education, research, and financial services. The event also featured investment consultations and exhibitions, further enhancing networking opportunities.
