International Dragon Federation World Cup Miluo kicks off with 11 of the world’s top dragon boat teams competing to cross the Miluo River
On October 26, the 2024 International Dragon Boat Federation World Cup kicked off at the Hunan Miluo International Dragon Boat Racing Center in Miluo City. The competition features standard dragon boat races over distances of 100 meters, 200 meters, and 500 meters. Eleven top-tier dragon boat teams from four continents gathered to race on the Miluo River.
We spoke with some of the local residents who came out to witness the thrilling event. “The energy here is incredible! It’s amazing to see teams from all over the world competing right in our city,” one spectator remarked.
