Wulun raids illegal casinos, seizes gambling money and drugs_2

The Whittier Police Department recently conducted a raid on an illegal gambling operation located in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue, following numerous complaints from local residents. The Special Resource Section (SRS) of the police department secured a search warrant on October 17 and apprehended four individuals at the venue. During the operation, officers seized drugs, gambling money, and illegal gaming machines.

In the course of the raid, law enforcement recovered three firearms, ammunition, an undisclosed amount of cash, drugs, and several illegal gambling machines. They also found multiple stolen vehicles parked outside the establishment, which were subsequently towed away. The four individuals present at the illegal operation were arrested on various charges.

Police are actively investigating the situation and expressed gratitude to community members for their ongoing reports regarding such illegal activities. They stated that both the police and the city will pursue criminal and civil penalties against those involved in this dangerous operation, as their actions have contributed to a decline in community safety.
