-China Trade Promotion- (Lancang-Mekong) Green Cooperation Exhibition was held in Bangkok
On October 24, the “China-ASEAN Green Cooperation Exhibition” officially kicked off in Bangkok, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and hosted by Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
This four-day exhibition was attended by key officials, including Zhang Xiaoxiao, a counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Thailand; Zhou Guangyao, the chief representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Thailand; Yang Dongsheng, vice president of the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Council; and Xu Genluo, vice chairman of the Thailand-China Business Council, among others from both Chinese and Thai government sectors and related institutions.
The theme of this year’s exhibition, “Green Motion in the Lancang-Mekong Region, Co-Drawing a Sustainable Future,” serves as a comprehensive showcase of achievements in regional cooperation. Representatives from both countries reflected on the impressive milestones reached in the ten years since the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation initiative was launched, expressing great optimism for future collaborations. They emphasized their commitment, as vital members of the Lancang-Mekong region, to continue adhering to the principles of joint consultation, construction, and shared benefits, aiming to deepen cooperation on green technologies. Together, they hope to lead the region’s green transformation and contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Lancang-Mekong areas.
At the exhibition, 34 outstanding Chinese enterprises presented their latest products and technologies. A special area was dedicated to showcasing achievements from the six Lancang-Mekong countries, highlighting 20 successful initiatives and case studies in fields such as green development, ecological protection, and clean energy.
