That same day, the Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone held the 2024 Cultural and Tourism Economic Development Conference, where the “Zheng He Family Feast” was officially launched. The event also marked the awarding of certificates to the first 12 tasting establishments associated with the feast. Notably, renowned singer Tan Jing was appointed as a cultural ambassador for Luoyang Bridge, further emphasizing the region’s commitment to cultural promotion.

In addition, a project aimed at creating a national-level coastal resort in the Baxian Guohai area was announced during the conference. This ambitious initiative will encompass family vacations, educational travel, business meetings, wellness retreats, nature sightseeing, popular social media sites, and artistic beach experiences. The conference also saw the signing of ten cultural tourism projects, with a total investment of 6.8 billion yuan.

The Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, situated in a historically rich and vibrant area, is recognized for its unique advantages, including its historical bridges, beautiful bay, navigable rivers, central lakes, and diverse gardens. Currently, efforts are being made to enhance the cultural tourism industry and expand the reach of the “Blue Bay: Dream Domain” brand.

Su Yanhui, the secretary of the Party Working Committee for the Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, shared plans for upcoming projects, including the construction of the Song and Yuan Dynasty Cultural City and a creative town centered around the Luoyang Bay heritage, aiming to revive the historical significance of the ancient Luoyang ferry.
