The health of the people is a critical marker of modern socialism. Since the 18th National Congress, the Central Committee of the Communist Party, led by Xi Jinping, has consistently prioritized the people and their lives, placing the safeguarding of public health at the forefront of its strategic development goals. The committee adheres to the path of health and wellness with Chinese characteristics, establishing policies for health and wellness in the new era, and advancing the construction of a Healthy China. This initiative includes deepening reforms in the medical and health system, developing the world’s largest healthcare system, and establishing a comprehensive public health service network that reaches both urban and rural areas. As a result, the health standards of the Chinese people have significantly improved. Xi Jinping’s extensive and thought-provoking discourses on promoting a Healthy China are rich in meaning and ideology. They play a vital role in advancing health and wellness initiatives in our country during the new era, providing a solid foundation for a strong nation and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through modernization with Chinese characteristics.
