The game itself was a competitive matchup, with the Cowboys scoring at least three points in every quarter. They led the Giants 14-9 at halftime, and while the Giants managed to score in each quarter, they couldn’t secure a win on their home turf.
September 26 also marked the 118th career start for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who is 31 years old and stands at 6 feet 2 inches. With a career record of 75 wins and 43 losses, Prescott has had notable success against the Giants, having thrown a total of 29 touchdown passes in their encounters over the years.
During the game, Prescott demonstrated his skills by avoiding any interceptions, although he did face one sack, resulting in an 8-yard loss. He completed 22 of 27 passes for a total of 221 yards, with his longest completion stretching 55 yards. Prescott also contributed to the ground game, executing two rushes without a touchdown while his teammates teamed up for 21 rushing attempts totaling 81 yards, also without a score.
Despite holding the ball for just 24 minutes and 23 seconds, the Cowboys’ efficient offensive performance led them to victory. The game attracted a crowd of 84,025 fans in attendance.
